Q. Can I bring my dog?

A. Unfortunately we can only allow guide dogs or assistance dogs.

Q. Can I bring a pushchair?

A. Our morning walk is suitable for some pushchairs, so if you are interested in coming with a pushchair please contact us via the form below and someone will give you a call to see if this would be the right walk for you.


Q. Do I have to book?

A. No, just come along and say hello to one of our Walk Leaders and you would be very welcome .

Q. Can I bring along someone who is visiting me?

A. Everyone is welcome, so come along  as one time walkers will be treated as your guest and we’d love to see them walk with us


Q.  Are the walks insured?

A. Yes, all our walks and social activities are insured with Howdens. For more details contact us at using the form below.


Q. Can children come along?

Yes, children under 18 can walk with us providing they are in the care of a responsible adult


Q.  How will I know if walks are cancelled in bad weather?

A. Any changes to our walks will be posted up on our Facebook page, but this rarely happens


Q.  Is there car parking near the start of the walk?

A. Yes, there is free car parking at Sandhurst Memorial Park, including disabled spaces


Q. How can I become a voting member of the walking group?

A. Yes, let us know that you would like to become a member via email or speak to a Walk Leader and this will be arranged. This will give you voting rights and invites to our AGM


Q. Why do I have to register with Rambler’s Wellbeing Walks?

A. Sandhurst Health Walks are affiliated to Ramblers Wellbeing walks and by registering it means you will be insured through the Ramblers’s insurance while you are walking and supported by Rambler’s trained Walk Leaders 


Q. If I sign up for a paid excursion and can't travel, can I get a refund? 

A. If you cancel 7+ days before the event we offer a 50% refund. Within 7 days, tickets are non-refundable and charged in full, but you're welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.

Just turn up to any of our walks and introduce yourself to one of our leaders, the ones wearing high viz tabards. 

Please arrive a few minutes early for a quick registration on your first visit. Then it's just comfortable shoes and a smile required!
